Wing Commander Prophecy No CD-Swap + Screen Saver Disable Patch
----------------------------------------------------------------

My goal for this patch was to allow me to put all my WCP discs onto a
single DVD + high resolution VOBs and play off of that without needing
to swap CDs or re-mount ISOs midway. Please note that this is still
experimental (see Limitations below).

In this package you'll find a patch I've added to WCP so that CD swapping
in-game should not be necessary. This patch also temporarily disables
Windows screen saver so that it does not kick in during the game if you
idle (while watching the long intro for example).

Now supposing that your CD Drive is D:\ and you're installing the files
to C:\Prophecy...

To install:

1. Perform a full installation of WCP from your CDs

2. Install HCl's WCP Enhancement Pack. VOB patch is optional
(but highly recommended because it looks so good!)

3. Insert CD#3 of WCP
Copy D:\MOVIES.TRE to C:\Prophecy (overwrite existing copy)
   Copy D:\WCPDISC3.IFF to C:\Prophecy
   Copy D:\MOVIES3.TRE to C:\Prophecy

4. Insert CD#2 of WCP.
   Copy D:\WCPDISC2.IFF to C:\Prophecy
   Copy D:\MOVIES2.TRE to C:\Prophecy

5. Insert CD#1 of WCP
   Copy D:\WCPDISC1.IFF to C:\Prophecy
   Copy D:\MOVIES1.TRE to C:\Prophecy

6. Copy the included prophecy.exe in this patch into C:\Prophecy
   Overwrite existing copy.

** This version of prophecy.exe is based on HCl's version **
** (Feb 2003 build) and requires wcphr.dll to be in your **
   ** Prophecy folder **

7. Copy the included wcpdvd.dll into C:\Prophecy

8. Take out all your CDs and run WCP! :)

Limitations
-------------------
Not sure if there are any at the moment. Having only just recently
found my copy of WCP lying at home, I have yet to finish the game to
verify that this patch fully works. I'm working on it though! :-)

Feedback from all you loyal WC fans will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks goes to HCl for the intriguing patching concepts :)
